- 8 ounce package Heartland Egg Noodles
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 3 pounds boneless beef bottom round roast
- 3 cups beef broth
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 bay leaf
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground pepper
- 1 large onion, cut into 1/2-inch wedges
- 1 pound carrots, cut into 2-inch pieces
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/4 cup corn starch
